On the last day of term I walked passed one of my neighbours (also a friend and dad to one of my daughter's classmates) who was putting the final pieces of luggage into the family campervan, having already secured his surf board to the roof. It turns out they were heading off on a six week wavecation to Portugal (imagine?!). And then today I stumbled across the beautiful Pensao Agrcola (thank you Style Files!), a small rural hotel near the idyllic fishing village of Cacela Velha on the Southern Portuguese coast. Built in 1920, Pensao Agrcola was originally a farmhouse which has been transformed by architect Atelier Rua into a small hotel with six rooms and a shaded terrace and plunge pool. Each room has white washed walls and touches of rustic wood, as well as vintage industrial style lamps and pieces by local artists. Let's take a peek....

I see the hotel also offers Vespa rental, a tuk tuk shuttle to the beach and (best of all) invites guests to help bath, brush and feed the faithful family donkey, Ernesto - who'd also love to join you on one of your walks.

I'm there if only to meet Ernesto. You?!

Get the look from Pensao Agrcola- source a beautiful vintage industrial pendant lamp here, jute rug (love the 'natural sand' version), soft herringbone blanket, there are two vintage cast iron beds available on Etsy right now here and here (hurry!).

Other holiday stays I love include this Greek island getaway, a Brazil escape and a Bali pool villa.

Holiday anyone?!

Have a lovely day!

Still no plans for Easter?  The pretty seaside cottage I showed earlier on in the week not your thing? Too late in the season for ski glamping?! Well, I might have just the thing. Designed by owner and interior designer Bea Mombaers,  this industrial style Bea B&B in Belgium is positively teeming with every piece a design lover could ask for. And complete with roaring log fire, uber comfy social areas and rumours of a pool you can check in anytime you like, but you might not want to ever leave (see what I did there?!). Oh and did I mention Bea also has an online shop selling similar items to the ones you see. This could get very dangerous indeed!

Anyone know the fastest way to Belgium?

Get the look at home: Brown leather pouf, filament light, white sheepskin throw, vintage moroccan rug, butterfly chair (love this!). Check out Bea's shop for other items.

Find out more about how you can book a room (and check out more pics) at this fabulous B&B here. See you there?!

Here's my Friday link love:

Bea's (cool) guide to Belgium.

This Stockholm home is a dream.

I'll be enjoying this pull apart apple bread with my weekend fika.

I've just discovered why I find early starts so tough.

Ther perfect gallery wall?

I've been getting quite a few e-mails lately about how to subscribe to My Scandinavian Home (thank you!). And I've finally set-up a new mailing list! Simply enter your e-mail address into the box to the left of the blog to receive a link to the latest post in your inbox.

 Have a wonderful weekend!

PS I think it's time for another give-away don't you? Pop in this weekend to see what I have in store for you. Hint, you can see a similar item in this and this home....
